The Missing Voices in Healthcare Education: Patient and Public Involvement in Interprofessional Learning
The PULPIT Final Conference will take place on 29–30 October 2026 at the School of Nursing, University of Lisbon, with the possibility to participate online.
The conference brings together patients and Experts by Experience, students, educators, healthcare professionals, researchers and policymakers to explore how meaningful Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) can strengthen Interprofessional Education (IPE) and the education of future healthcare professionals.
Across two days, participants will have the opportunity to engage with international perspectives, research findings, lived experience and practical approaches to involving patients and the public as partners in healthcare education.
The programme includes keynote speakers, round-table discussions, scientific presentations, workshops and opportunities for exchange and collaboration.
