PULPIT contributed to a webinar by the Portuguese Society for Clinical Communication in Healthcare exploring how meaningful patient involvement can reshape clinical communication, education and interprofessional practice.
On 18 June 2026, PULPIT contributed to the webinar “What if Patients Were the Teachers? Rethinking Clinical Communication in Education and Interprofessional Practice,” organised by the Portuguese Society for Clinical Communication in Healthcare (SP3CS).
The session was led by Ricardo Ferreira, PULPIT Project Coordinator, and Carolina Garcez Martins, Patient Research and Educational Partner from EUPATI Portugal.
Drawing on both research and lived experience, the webinar explored how meaningful Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) can strengthen clinical communication and healthcare education.
By combining academic expertise with a patient perspective, the discussion reflected one of PULPIT’s core principles: learning with patients, not only about them.
